Hi,

I work at the SNCF (the Public french Rail Company) and administrates mediawikis. I had to deploy the pdfbook extension but had to do lots of modifications related to images and extensions we use (CSOSource, ...). The SNCF will probably be ok to provide this work to the community once it will be documented (by me).

Here is a non-exhaustive list of what I did :

• added standard xml declarations at the tiop of the html generated file to allow DOM manipulations
• if H1 used (bad practice) in an article all headings are shifted to the n+1th level
• fixed a sumary table border bug
• large images are resized to prevnet their truncation
• parsing and handling some HTML4 styles by translation to HTML3 styles to allow the use of CSOSource plugin's formatting
• inserting nbsp in preformatted tags (pre) as htmldoc seems to avoid them (for CSOSouce)
• removed bullets in headers
