I don't think this article is really valid because the kind of process it refers to is not specific to flow control, but to all the constructs we need to the definition-build process to be able to use like operators, simple maths and nodal/list-space functions.
Its probably best merged into execution (for the definition-building aspect) or nodal reduction (for nodal flow-control aspect)
