I already started some notes for this in MediaWiki Workshop since it's going to need to be based on that, so probably best to merge with that.
- I saw that but wanted to do something separate because that MediaWiki Workshop article does not seem like it's headed toward creating a template for setting up the kind of event we were talking about. I see mainly workshop content ideas. Apart from that, wiki jam is supposed to be something for experienced wiki contributors and developers on organic design to collaborate on a range of issues, beyond the scope of strictly MediaWiki Workshop content development and testing.--Milan 22:54, 27 December 2007 (NZDT)
- And also, I was put off adding to the article you mention because I think my additions would "lost" in the long list of content, it's got a lot of restructuring work pending - see discussion--Milan 23:01, 27 December 2007 (NZDT)
- Splitting into two articles is fine, but we need the workshop content to be ready too. If the content is suffering from being a disorganised list then its shows that we're not ready for a group session yet. --Nad 23:10, 27 December 2007 (NZDT)
- We don't need the first stage of the workshop for ourselves, but we need some of the advanced stage, and the general structure of the "wiki organisation" one ready. --Nad 23:17, 27 December 2007 (NZDT)
- Splitting into two articles is fine, but we need the workshop content to be ready too. If the content is suffering from being a disorganised list then its shows that we're not ready for a group session yet. --Nad 23:10, 27 December 2007 (NZDT)
- And also, I was put off adding to the article you mention because I think my additions would "lost" in the long list of content, it's got a lot of restructuring work pending - see discussion--Milan 23:01, 27 December 2007 (NZDT)
