Most of our development time is consumed in MediaWiki-related development. We've moved most of our organisational systems ideas into wiki organisation. This has meant that the older work of developing the nodal model have been on the back-burner. Nodal SMW is an idea to help get the nodal development moving again by bringing it into the wiki environment.
Now that we have an established way of treating articles as collections of properties using SMW via standard template syntax, we can define the basic relationships required by the nodal model. This would be done via Template:Node which is used in an article to define which other nodes it connects to through each of the nodal relationships such as Property:Up, Property:Down, Property:Prev, Property:Next etc.
