This is a generic ontology for describing organisations and their workflow within a universal peer-to-peer runtime environment.

During 2007 the direction of the software development for [[about the project|the project]] has merged with our MediaWiki developments since it was not making enough progress as a completely unrelated technology. The result of this direction adjustment is [[Wiki Organisation]] which will eventually allow us to continue to use the MediaWiki code base and content, but within a peer-to-peer unified article-space instead of as a collection of separate web-servers serving a collection of separate clients.

Hi, I'm Aran :-)

I live in Devonport, New Zealand and spend my days working on the project which involves a lot of philosophical thought about organisation (such as The Nodal Model, wiki organisation and semantic organisation) and development on various MediaWiki extensions. In 2007 I became one of the official developers so I could maintain some extensions directly in the MediaWiki SVN repository.

Of course, I have to spend some time each week on paid work too, but I try and restrict it to MediaWiki and wiki-based organisation so that it doesn't cause the other projects to stagnate. Most of my jobs come through other people affiliated with the project and usually involves setting up MediaWiki's with varying levels of organisational structure. I've recently become a member of RentACoder and have started to get a few development jobs through that system.

I also do a bit of MediaWiki skinning work as long as it only involves implementing an existing design, and also do a fair bit of on-site local IT support work.

Here's some links to do with me :-)
