Firstly Ive found various versions of [http://www.organicdesign.co.nz/wiki/index.php?title=MediaWiki/GeSHiHighlight.php&oldid=9764 GeSHiHighlight.php]. Ive put this under the relative path ''extensions'' My approach has been to put GeShi (latest version) under the relative path ''extensions/geshi/geshi'' with 755 permissions, and put an include tag (require_once("extensions/GeSHiHighlight.php");) into mediawiki's index.php after the LocalSetting.php is loaded

Any pointers appreciated.

Rob, Nad tells me you have GeSHi syntax highlighting working on a default media wiki install. I have made a set of loose instructions in the article, MediaWiki/GeSHi Install. Your experience/additions appreciated.

Dealing with hierachical structures of mixed types can be an intense headache if you haven't read perlreftut - Mark's very short tutorial about references. I was reminded of it today when having trouble trying to make a hash of lists of lists for my half-nodallised sonovapeer.

Hi Rob, on another topic, I've been trying to share a usb windows printer with a linux machine through the LAN. Got a bit lost in the process. Any good websites or other resources you could point me to regarding linux (esp. printers) driver-howtos?

Cheers,

That's all good but I still need a postal address, cheers!

Gidday, was told you need a video card to test stuff on - give me a postal address and I will send it to you. Just flick me some bucks for the postage. Generally you can route hardware requests my way because I've got access to lots of stuff through work. Also, keep me posted on specific requirements re media centre prototype because we may be interested in putting one together here.
