In the Organic Design context, the word "platform" refers to an organisation that is using the platform specification as the foundation of it's system design. A platform is designed to allow easy creation of organisations that work in accord with the values outlined in our manifesto. Part of the platform specification is that all platforms have the potential to connect with any other platform to share knowledge and create new organisations through common interests and ideas. The phrase "the platform network" refers to the collection of all the platforms connected together to form a global peer-to-peer network.
