To construct an unregulated DC power supply that will power the main board and any other digital logic circuits that may be required.
Parts needed
- Transformer - input 240VAC output 12VDC
- Capacitor - high value - 12V
- Voltage regulator 7805
- Mounting board - high current rails
Parts in stock
- Jug socket
- Capacitor - low value microF - to reduce RF emissions from regulator
- Bridge rectifier - four 1N4004 diodes
