Well we're back up and running yet again. Unfortunately the [http://www.vpsland.com VPS Land] experience was very bad! first they took 50 hours to set up our server, and then after less than a day it had crashed and was not accessible or rebootable. They took more than ten hours to respond to tell me that we needed to upgrade to more RAM. In reality df -h showed that they'd only given us 65MB of swap space instead of 256MB, but I thought it best to get a refund and get out of there ASAP :-( | Well we're back up and running yet again. Deja Vu: New VPS up and running
Well we're back up and running yet again. Unfortunately the VPS Land experience was very bad! first they took 50 hours to set up our server, and then after less than a day it had crashed and was not accessible or rebootable. They took more than ten hours to respond to tell me that we needed to upgrade to more RAM. In reality df -h showed that they'd only given us 65MB of swap space instead of 256MB, but I thought it best to get a refund and get out of there ASAP :-(
We're now on VPS Link which I've set up and used before for a client and found it to be very good.
