This article approaches many of the ideas discussed elsewhere. My motivation was to try and integrate some of turing's ideas with the methods we might use to implement self containment in a real enviroment. I feel there must be a link between these theoretical and practical aspects of computing, and it's application to software engineering (tools that make tools).
