This is account is assigned automatically to the client when the request originates from the same host that the webserver is running on. This allows the server to make edits and create articles directly from the URL. Normally a [[w:bot|bot]] such as [[wikid.pl|wikid]] would login and edit with the HTML forms like a normal user, but it is far more efficient, fast and reliable for programs to integrate with the wiki via an [[w:API|API]] than with forms designed for Humans.
