Map existing organisation
- Once requirements are known, compare existing setup with the template
- The wiki organisation is prepared in parallel with the existing one to minimise disruption, activity and content is moved across in phases.
Set up LAN
- Internet account
- What is the connection like? Speed, reliability?
Hardware
What kind of hardware is required
- Router
- Server box
- Workstations (1 per office worker)
- Sources of good quality hardware
Install LAN server
- Firewall
- Email (imap)
- Backup
- Shared files and documents (samba?)
Install workstations
- Ubuntu
- Applications
