what do you think of the view of roles? almost everything in business breaks down into distinct roles that people tend to be good at or not so good at. One way to look at it is what we call the "Four Areas of Business", which breaks down into the following roles:

  • Operations
  • Marketing
  • Accounting
  • Finance

I think it is important to have the business mindset behind the ontology, as it relates in a natural way to stuff we discussed in OD 1.0. A business will naturally move through the above areas in a natural pattern. --Phalseid 02:19, 23 July 2008 (NZST)
