okay, now we need to (sub)categorize the content. --Phalseid 02:43, 29 Dec 2006 (NZST)

why call it IT seminars? i think the term IT scares people. My target audience can turn on a PC and that is about it. To use a phone, I don't want to give them a lecture on telco.

I like the start though. I will contribute. --Phalseid 04:36, 8 Dec 2006 (NZDT)

IT does scare/bore a lot of people. Better to avoid acronyms wherever possible. --Rob 01:59, 29 Dec 2006 (NZST)

I think we should make Category:Seminars a sub-category of Category:Education, take for instance the seven principles of huna article, which should go into education but is not a seminar, at least not at this stage. I think Category:Education is good for stuff that would be useful to share but doesn't have a more specific place or category yet. Articles in there could then turn into seminars or services or workshops as required.--Milan 07:02, 4 Jan 2007 (NZST)

I think we're all pretty much in agreement about putting Category:Education back as the top level, better to discuss first before changing a major cat like that --Nad 07:20, 4 Jan 2007 (NZST)
I agree too. So how do we get the Category:Education back from the redirect bin? --Rob 08:48, 4 Jan 2007 (NZST)
Also maybe we should nominate category maintainers. These people can curate the category and keep things organised. I suggest Milan for Category:Education and Peder for Category:Seminars. --Rob 09:01, 4 Jan 2007 (NZST)
Ok, Category:Education is back, just gotta decide which move back into it from Category:Seminars --Nad 09:13, 4 Jan 2007 (NZST)
I've had a bit of a look over the past few days. Looks like it could so with some flattening of categories to remove some unnecessary sub-categories. I'll move those that seem obvious to me. --Rob 09:18, 4 Jan 2007 (NZST)
