The Platform Network consists of all the real-world organisations which are based on the Platform organisational template. All are running the Peer software which makes them part of the unified Nodal Network. The Platform Network represents the Whole within the context of a Platform-based organisation and will be accessed through the blue section of the Platform Control workspace.

The notion of the Platform Network gives rise to the possibility of widespread harmonisation amongst the users of the Peer, allowing people to work toward mutual goals in a synergistic way. Rather than having to set up their own solutions, they will be able to connect with platforms in the network in order to meet their needs. Alternatively, it will be possible to see the current demand for a given product or service within the network, allowing members to fill roles or form organisations in response. This takes much of the risk out of setting up new ventures and allows things to be set up using minimal resource.

Via the Platform Network it will be easy for people using the Peer to form the equivalent of virtual corporations, for instance in the form of bulk-buying and other demand aggregation systems. Other features that will emerge within the Platform Network will be travel and courier services, events schedules, and facilities booking for meetings or accommodation.

In a very informal and distributed "face-to-face" way, medieval crafts guilds have historically modelled this structure, as have masonic lodges.
