The organisation's system is like a computer program has the market place for its executional runtime environment. The market place is composed of consumers and as such is an entropic environment (it breaks down complex structure into simpler forms). This sounds negative, but this consistent force of reduction is what gives rise to potential for change - to continue the runtime analogy, it acts as the interpreter which reads and executes the programs.
