I need a few people to view the PFS Wiki Proposal as it would be best if the people I am trying to convince of the benefits of Wiki actually view it on the Wiki. Is it possible to create a group just for this? Also, Is it possible to create a group for the File Conversion project that Joe and I are working on that only you, I, Joe and Spaffs have access to? --Schwaney
- I've changed the perms of all the PFS Wiki Proposal to pfs, to allow a user to view it, go to the user's page and then click the system button (which is to the right of properties when on a user page). You'll see some XML which looks similar to a properties page, add pfs to the <groups> element. --Nad 23:38, 3 Jan 2007 (NZST)
There's no reset-password functionality - tried to do a quick-fix but failed, it should be easy to add but it'll have to wait for a day or so cos I'm at Jane and Marc's at the moment. --Test 04:58, 18 Dec 2006 (NZST)
- Ok User:Spaffs password has been reset to "password", he can change it to what he wants in Special:Preferences --Nad 20:21, 20 Dec 2006 (NZST)
Dunna if you beedn using watchlists, but if you go to you watchlist on the left in Bookmarks, then you can add PFS Wiki Proposal. The watchlist allows you to see changes for only selected articles. Anything on the watchlist also show up bold in the normal recent changes. --Nad 08:49, 13 Dec 2006 (NZDT)
Hi, I have added SugarCRM to the "competition" category. Of specific interest is their business model. Regards, --Milan 11:48, 4 Aug 2006 (NZST)
did you check Category:Competition?...specifically Confuluence and don't count out jimbo.... im sure you saw that bezos personally invested in 37Signals....--Phalseid 07:16, 28 Jul 2006 (NZST)
We must have done an edit conflict that I didn't notice cos I had actually also answered you nodal-explanation question with some info and links which was roughly this:
- The only human-readable docs are's older ones like The Nodal Model which are incomplete and new ones like Category:Nodal Concepts. The up to date stuff is the scripts and their talk pages in peer dev links.. --Nad 16:10, 6 Jun 2006 (NZST)
Heres a quick tutorial I've written up for using discussion pages, the other useful resource is the help information --Sven 13:16, 6 Jun 2006 (NZST)
Hi, I saw your comment re executive summary and I hear what you're saying. On the other hand, it would be good to have at least "something" to show potential seed investors while acknowledging that things may change as the biz plan is developed.
Did you hear how the Flickr service came about? That's a good example of that exact thing you talk about. They were developing an online role-playing game, and as part of that they developed a way to share photos online. The developers liked that so much that they decided to ditch the game and just focused on the online photo sharing aspect!

Hi Milan. I posted back to Phalseid Talk:Executive Summary
- IDEA DEVELOPMENT AREA
Hey Nad, Very keen to get up and going. Have you had a chance to setup the new area as discussed last night for me to start throwing down the plan?
- I emailed you about it.... are you not able to access it on the address in the email? --Nad 10:56, 4 Jun 2006 (NZST)
- The e-mail ended up in my junk folder. Apparently AntiSpam doesn't like you :-). I tried that link already this morning, but no go. I'm just throwing the address straight into my browser address bar. Is that all I am supposed to do? --Schwaney 11:07, 4 Jun 2006 (NZST)
- I can't see any reason why its not working - I've just emailed you the text directly for now... --Nad
