It should be possible to construct an unregulated DC power supply that will power the main board and any other digital logic circuits tha may be required.
Parts needed
- Transformer - input 240VAC output 12VDC
- Capacitor - high value - 12V
- Voltage regulator 1705 (check code)
- Mounting board

- Capacitor - low value microF - to reduce RF emissions from regulator
