Quote.pngHey Everyone, If you have heard about the Egyptian second revolution, I need your help to spread our word to the whole world since CNN and BBC are biased and they don't say the truth and claim it is a military coup in order to interfere in Egypt such as what happened in Iraq and Syria and here is the truth...please, let the world know the truth, that's how u can help our revolution ( America's public opinion, we trust you) Military coup is the seizure of power by military force and unilateral governance. What happened in Egypt is the bias of the army to the legitimate democratic demands of the Egyptian people. and that was our letter to US government but unfortunately US is still supporting Muslim Brotherhood and claiming that our second revolution is a military coup . That's why , you're advised to know why we made this revolution..and also know that US is supporting terrorism in the Middle East...Therefore, we as Egyptians are sending this message to the public opinion of the United States and the whole world in order to find out the truth. On June 30th, millions of Egyptians marched against the current ruling dictatorship of Egypt, the Muslim Brotherhood. They planned to do so peacefully, and have used perfectly legitimate legal means to impeach the current Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi and call for early elections. Egyptians gave the Muslim Brotherhood their chance, and the Muslim Brotherhood has failed miserably. The Muslim Brotherhood was elected under special circumstances after the revolution, and they have failed both to keep any of their promises, and to uphold the spirit of the revolution. They have only proven themselves to be intolerant dictators at best, and violent terrorists at worst, as proven by their bloody history since 1928. As leaders of Egypt they have imprisoned journalists, further strangled civil society, tortured prisoners, arrested people for “blasphemy,” endorsed sectarian violence such as the fatal attacks on the Coptic Cathedral and on Shiite Muslims during worship. President Morsi even appointed as the governor of Luxor the man responsible for the bloody terrorist massacre against tourists in Luxor in 1997. The Muslim Brotherhood is the legitimate mother of every single radical Islamist terrorist group in the region, including Al-Qaeda. Underneath the Muslim Brotherhood’s external diplomacy is a platform of hatred towards the West and towards all democratic values. Any continued support from the current US administration of this terrorist group is shortsighted; with such support, history will repeat itself, as it has happened in Iran and Afghanistan, and we will be closer than we can imagine to witnessing another 9/11, if not worse. We have listened in alarm as Ambassador Patterson has defended Egyptian President Morsi and even went so far as to try to convince one segment of the Egyptian population not to join the protests. We have listened in disbelief as Secretary of State John Kerry talks about “reform” for a terrorist group on Egypt’s account. We ask one thing from the United States government on June 30th, 2013 and thereafter: please step aside and do not take the side of a terrorist group against the Egyptian people. Do not interfere with the democratic aspirations of the Egyptian people. Do not send arms or tear gas to the Egyptian government. Do not allow the Egyptian government to buy arms or tear gas from American companies. Do not interfere. A truly democratic Egypt is in the best interests of the United States, both short term and long term. The strongest and most historic allies and economic partners of the United States are all liberal democracies, not religious dictatorships. Stand on the right side of history by staying out of the way as Egyptians build their own democracy.
