Joe's reading list

From Organic Design wiki
  • Just got my copy of Human Ecology! What a masterpiece! Another that I think is sure to be of the same high calibre of thought is Human Action, by Ludwig von Mises.
  • A People's History of the United States - Howard Zinn
  • NFCM (New Foundations for Classical Mechanics) summary - David Hestenes Ch.1 Ch.2 I might translate this in to Portuguese
  • O Calendário Maia (The Mayan Calandar) - Diana de Assis (Portuguese) I intend to translate this into English
  • Ardeshir Mehta - On Geometry (With Particular Reference to the Theory of Relativity) Most of my life I considered myself among the intellectial elite, being convinced that Relativity and Non-Euclidean Geometry are logical, possible, and likely, if not unquestionable. I have to admit, after reading this book, that I was a self-flattering dupe. The Emperor Wears No Clothes. The intellectually honest reader will have to admit that our trusted mentors are not the geniuses they are supposed to be.
