Can we debug rewrite.pl by feeding in the logs of all the past requests (mimicing apache) and monitor the output? --Sven 16:06, 24 September 2007 (NZST)

I guess what we want is a debug hash of key (old request) => value (freindly url redirect). --Sven 16:14, 24 September 2007 (NZST)
I was already logging that I thought there was no evidence of any of the rewrites being faulty which is why I thought that rewrite.pl may not have been the problem. But running locally had major problems and moving back to standard rewrite rules fixed it perfectly, so it's definately rewrite.pl.
I've had a bit of a disaster here, that lightning storm nuked my lappie :-( I'm not sure to what extent yet - I'm currently booted in on live-cd and I'm backing up today's emails and spreadsheet off the drive, which at least shows that most of the drive seems intact. But it won't boot off the drive and even booting off live-cd has intermittent trouble so it doesn't look too good... --Nad 17:52, 24 September 2007 (NZST)
Damn, thats a bummer. Bit of an impressive storm where we were too, not heard thunder like that in a while. --Sven 18:54, 24 September 2007 (NZST)
