Talk:Creation

there is a huge debate in philosophy over which comes first: thought or word. again, this is just a seed thought. --Phalseid 16:18, 15 Jun 2006 (NZST)

Obviously if thoughts are considered only to be the verbal aspect of mental content then language came first, but if thought is considered to be any mental content at all then thought came first. If you're talking about the word used to create the universe, then you're now talking about a language of creation which is a different kettle of fish - thats a language in the same way as the laws of physics are a language and immediately reduces the argument to the ultimate question of either "how/why did things arise from nothing" or "how/why does eternity exist?" --Nad 09:58, 23 Oct 2006 (NZDT)
Awareness is the eternal timeless present which is independent of future, past or causality. Time, space and causality etc are aspects of consciousness which spontaneously comes and goes within the unified unbroken eternal awareness which you can directly feel as your I-am-ness.
