Info about getting repeating events to show up in calendar

1) Go to Administer > Site building > Modules and turn on "Date Repeat API" (also turn on Views UI to be able to change the calendar view)

2) Go to Administer > Content management > Content types

3) Click on "manage fields" for the Event type

4) Click on "Configure" next to the Date field

5) Click on "Change basic information" and select "Text Field with Date Pop-up and Repeat options" (continue, save, etc)

6) Go to Administer > User Management > Permissions and make sure that the authenticated role can "view date repeats"

7) Go to Administer > Site building > Views and open/edit the "calendar listing" view

8) On the Date field, unselect "Group multiple values" (save etc)

I'm still finding the upcoming list a little weird.

Also, authenticated users and managers can only see the first instance; only administrators can see any of the repeats on the calendar or upcoming events list. Haven't yet figured out why.
