Talk:Trust group
I think Greco's paper boils down to one new thing which is pretty cool - the idea of unused credit becoming locked up into a sort of term deposit whereby it becomes available to the common credit pool as a means of incentivising keeping credit in circulation in a positive way rather than using demurage.
I've been thinking about how to scale mutual credit using web of trust style vouching as well. Thinking of a "vouch" relationship being something similar to how "follow" relationships work in social networks, but they would form a trust network instead, vouching would kind of lock up some of your credit as insurance against the default of the new member you vouched for. This amount would decrease as the network gained more trust in them and took over your vouch relieving you of the responsibility and freeing up your credit for vouching for further new members.
