ok, found the hook to add other file extentions to mediawiki, you simply add;

$wgFileExtensions = array('png','jpg','jpeg','ogg','doc','xls','ppt','mp3','sxc','pdf');

to LocalSettings.php. For convenience we could remove the doc, and others that pose a security risk...

Mik, the nice thing with the wiki markup is you can start writing articles and then transfer the text from individual pages to the NutriWiki site. Check out Help! for a lot of reading resources. Heres a couple of useful html tags that I use in the markup language.

• <nowiki>[[dont wiki me]]</nowiki>
• Unwritten Article is in red
• &rarr; →
• &larr; ←
• strikethrough
