Alignment statement
The members of a trust group collaborate on a statement which covers as completely as possible what they believe the group's purpose is, what the plan, or system is and what the members roles and responsibilities are. The members should check at weekly meetings or monthly meetings how aligned the members are with the alignment statement, and if there are any problems, whether member's need to change the way they operate to be more aligned or whether the alignment statement or other key documents such as charter, best practices or manifesto needs to be refined or otherwise adjusted. It can be useful to derive one or more alignment checklists that allow members to quickly assess their alignment in various aspects of the group's operations.
