Before moving off-grid I spent a lot of time on the [[Platform network]] concept which involved a lot of [[:Category:Glossary|conceptual]] thought about organisation (such as [[The Nodal Model]], [[Platform specification]] and [[wiki organisation]]) and development on various [[:Category:Extensions|MediaWiki extensions]] and [[:Category:Procedures|procedures]]. In 2007 I became one of the official MediaWiki developers to add the ability for MediaWiki to use the [[MW:Manual:SQLite|SQLite]] database which is now a standard installation option, and to maintain some of my extensions in the official repository.

Hi, I'm Aran :-)
