Orphan

In wiki terminology, an orphan refers to an article which is not linked to from any other article which means that it would never be found by following links in the site. One useful way to prevent the creation of orphans which is defined in the best practices is to always create a link to a non-existent article which will result in a red link that you can follow to create it.
