The term 'abstraction' is a highly abstract term in itself and would be off-putting to the punter who mechanism has heard of HE but wants to know more. TR's own expressions "mechanisms of society" might be better - incorrect syntax not withstanding. --Johnwhyte 01:33, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
