This article is a collection of information about video hardware and how it can be utilised by our operating system.
The The Open Graphics Project is a community driven inititive to design and build a haigh performance open video card. All specification data is open and provided along with the card itself. The prototype is based on an FPGA, making it very flexible and easy to reconfigure. The spec is impressive.
