The keyboard layout Brazilians use most is called ABNT2. Including that in your searches will get you results, this especially true for Macs. In gnome abnt2 is pretty easy to set up, however in lxde it's a nightmare.

Cool thanks I'll check that out, Beth got a new laptop recently but the cedilla etc weren't working the way she's used to in Brazil, using US Alternative International and that config hack has made it work that way, I'll check if that's what ABNT2 is also. --nad 14:55, 24 July 2011 (PDT)
