Our vision is to see all of our world's inhabitants governing ourselves with an open, accessible and understandable global system which has as its bottom line the common good, and which we define and operate ourselves by effectively utilising and allocating our common expertise and resource.

PostiveMoneyNZ - proposal for monetary reform in NZ

Positive Money New Zealand is a campaign to move New Zealand from a debt-based economy to one that operates with a full reserve in which money has been issued debt-free and interest-free. This will free the nation and its people from the crippling effects of ever increasing interest bills - that keep the majority of people on the debt treadmill.

Positive Money New Zealand began when Sue Hamill and Don Richards had the current debt based system explained to them in 2010. When they learnt that NZ operated under the same system. (read more...)

Sons of Liberty Academy

SonsOfLiberty.jpg

The Sons of Liberty Academy is a really complete and well presented research project by truth-seeker Chris Duane. He's put together an extremely comprehensive and well organised package of material which is in the form of ten video modules, each with an associated optional set of supplementary material for deeper research into the topics covered.

The Sons of Liberty Academy is invaluable material for anyone interested in getting a deep and clear knowledge of what's really behind all this war, poverty and financial meltdown, and what the real solutions are. It's invaluable not only for newcomers to these concepts so they can avoid thousands of frustrating hours wading through confusion and disinformation, but also a great reference and referral resource to have at hand for those of us who have been studying these concepts for many years.

Membership to access the material has recently been made free of charge since it's such important knowledge. However, for those who do have some funds available to support a good cause, I think Sons of Liberty Academy is one of the best causes out there in the current times.

About Organic Design

One way of deriving a group is from how people answer a specific set of questions. Even if the "members" of such a group don't appear on any list, are not stored anywhere or never communicated their answers to anyone, the group still exists in a certain sense if it exhibits the potential for action. Here at Organic Design we call this kind of "non-explicit" group an organic group, as distinct from a trust group which is one whose members are known to one another.

One such question is, if you were performing a particular task, would you like to know if anyone anywhere else performing the same task had a better way of doing it? Another related question is, would you like to live in a world where all such "best ways" were made openly accessible to and easily understandable by everyone? An overwhelming majority would answer "yes" to the first question. The second though is one that many people would think about more deeply before answering and may answer "no".

The people who share the common vision we talk about here at Organic Design are those that answer "yes" to both of the previous questions. We don't know how many people that is, but judging from the popularity of the free software movement and other similar projects, we can be very sure that even if it's not a global majority it's certainly hundreds of millions of people world-wide!

That's an enormous potential for action, but how does an organic group like this begin to achieve anything together? We believe the answer lies in alignment...

Occupy Wall Street spreads around the World

MoneyTalks.png

On the 17th of September, hundreds of people gathered in Wall Street, New York to protest against the corrupt financial system that has systematically taken over the US government and enslaved the people. This movement became known as Occupy Wall Street and has now begun to spread to hundreds of other locations around the US and the world, including here in Auckland. Other groups such as Occupy Together, October2011.org, LA Activist and People's Conferences are springing up to help organise people and raise awareness of the problems and groups dedicated to solutions.
