It's not always desirable to have the default MediaWiki redirection behaviour happen when moving articles, we often want to free up the original title when moving and article to a new one. Sometimes we want to leave the original completely unchanged and simply make a copy, for example when we want to give an article the same properties as another. There may still be some problems with this, so a link to talk:copy.php has been included in the form for reporting bugs and other related discussion. |
